Recipe
A poem by
Thomas William Hodgson Crosland
CHIDDEN still murmurs,
SLAPPED and RAPPED complain,
HURT, with a thousand tongues,
Whines out his pain.
This is the learning
Unto which we come:
PROPERLY WALLOPED
Is for ever dumb.
