A Sickness Of This World It Most Occasions

A poem by Emily Dickinson

A sickness of this world it most occasions
When best men die;
A wishfulness their far condition
To occupy.

A chief indifference, as foreign
A world must be
Themselves forsake contented,
For Deity.
